Our 'positive' list
Following on from another thread - I have set up this joint list of reasons to be cheerful
Its so hard to stay positive with this debilitating illness all the time - and we all need a pick me up once in a while - so here is a list for everyone to add something 'positive' too whenever you feel you can - its aim is to give a nice reminder to all of us that there as been and will be good days and good things....
Please try to keep it to one liners - but you can add more than more...... :0

Re: Our 'positive' list
It has given me the freedom to let go and not worry the small stuff - so there is paper all over the floor - but hey it was fun making the mess
Re: Our 'positive' list
Instead of running around helping a big international company make money I get to run a forum and help in a much better way
Re: Our 'positive' list
I have time to smile at the sun (under dark glasses ) and smell the roses - I even smile at the rain
Re: Our 'positive' list
Some of my best friends have come through chronic migraine and some whom I have never even met - yet they are the ones who pick me up when I fall

I use my migraine blind spots to decapitate those who happen to be annoying me
Re: Our 'positive' list
I get to enjoy watching the dogs play and see the joy they get out of life. Getting up early means I see the sun coming up (behind glasses!)

I see beautiful shapes and patterns that others can't, like wind that is gold shimmering ripples.

On recovering from migraine I can spend as long as I like listening to the radio and doing very little else.

Re: Our 'positive' list
I am lucky, in that I only really have myself to worry about (the husband can look after himself!), so I can take days out of my life, like today, to just try to recover in bed.

I often think that - I must save so much on clothes and make up!

Love that one - I too have saved a fortune on shoes.......... I have 3 pairs and never wear them
Re: Our 'positive' list
I have real trouble finding shoes that fit (I'm a size 3 and my feet are about as wide as they are long!), so for me I save a lot of angst trying to find shoes I can wear to work and special occasions etc - there is no work, and there are very rarely special occasions!
