tingly face and numbness

Does anyone get a tingly face, like someone brushing their fingers over your cheeks/jawline and numbness at the back of their ear and head? Been having this for a while off and on now and the Doc just said it was nothing. Umm it is something coz i can feel it.

Yes I have this all the time - I was told its part of a physical aura and is a sign to slow down and rest.

I had a permanent numbness in my cheek for 3 yrs when the big one hit and now it comes and goes, I know when I have over done it as my cheek goes numb first, then my ear, then my arm and hand.

Have you mentioned it to your consultant?

Yup it's a migraine symptom , some people say it signals one coming on. Others have it at different times with or without pain or other migraine symptoms.

I can also yawn or have a streaming eye..or my very special favorite friend the feeling like I have been punched in the nose..I am sure we all have our 'special' 'friends' that Mr Migraine sends us when he's a visiting.

I also get tingling and numbness in my face - over my left cheek, round the left side of my mouth, and at it's worst it affects my tongue and throat, which is very frightening.
