The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery is exploring why some people get migraines with dizziness, vertigo and imbalance (so-called migrainous vertigo) and some people don’t. This information has the potential to help develop more rational treatments for people with this form of migraine.

If you have migraines linked to symptoms of dizziness, vertigo (illusions that you or the world are moving) or imbalance, please consider taking part.

The study involves one telephone call for a medical interview. You will also receive a consent form in the post to sign, some questionnaires to complete and a saliva sample kit for genetic testing that can be posted back.

If you would like to take part please contact Dr Louisa Murdin at the Department of Neuro-otology. By post: Box 127 Department of Neuro-otology, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London. WC1N 3BG. By phone: 07982 629790. By email: louisa.murdin@uclh.nhs.uk.
