Lighting research trial - testers needed
Are you a light sensitive migraineur?
Migraine Action has joined forces with Megaman UK Ltd and we are conducting a trial into the effects of low-energy light bulbs and migraine.
To help us ascertain your suitability for this trial, please click here to download our pre-trial survey. The document is an interactive PDF and you will be able to write your responses and comments directly on to the document. Once you have completed the pre-trial survey, please save a copy on to your computer and then attach it in an email to katie.bright@megamanuk.com. If you are selected to participate in the actual lighting trial, Megaman UK Ltd will send you directly a variety of light bulbs for you to test.
Each individual will be placed into a testing group and will test one colour temperature lamp from each category: 1 globe, 1 reflector, 1 compact and 1 tublar light bulb. If you have a fitting preference i.e. screw fitting or bayonet fitting, please specify your preference when emailing your pre-trial survey back to Megaman UK Ltd.
Specific instructions with regards to usage of each bulb will be provided in your trial pack along with a diary to monitor your individual response to the various bulbs you will be testing.
If you have any problems opening or completing the pre-trial survey, please contact demelzaburn@migraine.org.uk. To ensure you are considered for a place on this research trial, please complete the pre-trial lighting survey and return it to katie.bright@megamanuk.com by Friday 19th August 2011.
Thank you for supporting Migraine Action and we hope to discover whether more suitable lighting can be developed for light sensitive migraineurs in the future.
Kind regards,
Migraine Action
