Saturday 4th June
Hmmm bit grim this last couple of days.
My pains been really bad for a few weeks so I've been having some acupuncture to try and manage things a bit better..sometimes it can help.
Yesterday I felt a bit better than I had for quite a while (YEAH!!!)..then I had a bit of cheese and experienced a sudden down turn in my remission (BOOOOOooo!!!).
I know all about food triggers but they have never been an issue for me..well except for alcohol (that's so unfair). SO imagine my surprise when I found myself with a return of the pain up to maximum warp speed and me talking to God on the big white telephone in the bathroom for about 3 hours. Yuck..
I am now pathologically scared of cheese..tried chocolate tonight. purely as a scientific exercise , and no major change in pain levels with that (phew) .
I did wonder whether I noticed the trigger this time because I was feeling better than normal and experiencing a rare low level of pain? However as Brian mentioned I'm actually rarely pukey..I usually just feel nauseated..ah TMI apologies.
Maybe I need to look at this whole food thing again..sigh...
Ah well hoping for an easier night tonight.
Beam me up Scottie

Re: Saturday 4th June
Very sorry to hear this. Why is nothing straightforward, eh? Sometimes I think food and our migraines in general just like to keep us guessing.
I am pathologically scared of cheese too - haven't eaten it for half of my life now!!
Hope tomorrow is a better one. x
I've been a bit grim lately too. But actually went out today to the zoo for a couple of hours (we have season tickets, so can just pop in for a bit - suits me better than a big day out, as you can imagine). I'm so happy to have got out and about, as I was starting to feel like I was under house arrest!

Yeah despite feeling like death warmed up you still get stir crazy and just wish you didn't have to act like a vampire when the sun does decided to show it's face.
Glad you managed a trip out..I think it does help sometimes to j
'just do something'
Hope tomorrow is a better day.
