Advice needed regarding Botox

I had a dose of Botox injections (35 injections) 3 months ago, and I am due for 2nd dose in 2 weeks time.
The first lot made my headaches worse and I had more of them, so I am hesitant to try another dose.
The reason I am anxious about this is that we are going on a holiday to Europe in a months time, and I am scared to risk another lot of injections - not knowing if it will make things better or worse.
Has anyone had experiences like this where the 2nd dose was better than the first?

It's a difficult one, and I'm certainly no expert, but I would personally never have the next lot if they had made things worse last time.

I've had botox in the dim and distant past, and it failed to help. But the more I think about it these days, I think so many of my issues are muscular, so injecting a poison into the muscles is probably a really bad thing.
