I apologise if some of you have received spam private messages. I just received one myself, which alerted me to the problem.

I have altered some of the settings, and people now have to be members that have posted a small number of posts in order to private message other members. You also now have to be a member to view the member list.

I hope this resolves things, but please let me know if not.
