Neurologist in S WALES/ sw england
hI i was wondering if anyone knows of a hm neurologist in s wales/s w england The one I have is a general neuro who is good but doesn't seem to understnd what is happening to me. I am basically ending up bedridden. and I hate it. Am on Topiramate which has stopped the big seizures I used to have and the massive headaches and total paralysis which lasted for up to 10 days but now I have a constant headache, dizziness, numbness, and so tired and lots of other aura symptoms I won't bore you with. Twice a week at least I get a big headache. The tablets had calmed it down for about 6 mths now its back with a vengence. Iuse to work and be active now can hardly get up in the morning. If anyone can help I would be grateful Carol

Not sure of anyone that-a-way. It may be worthwhile contacting one of the charities such as migraine trust or migraine action?
Tee, any input?

Hi,
I see Dr Stuart Weatherby. He's based in Plymouth and is one of the leading migraine specialists. He trained in London and is a member of BASH and The Migraine Trust. I think there's also a doctor in Exeter who is a GP with special interest in migraines. There might be someone in Bristol, which would be nearer for you.

Thank you for you help. I will look at the sites and at the hospitals and consultant you have both suggested and hopefully start the ball rolling.
