vitamin D, sleep apnea, headache, migraine, depression Pt. 4
I came across this today - I found it really interesting - so many of us have had or are having migraine sleep problems........... has anyone tried this?

As a pale Scottish person, who dislikes the sun and doesn't sleep, and has bone problems (arthritis) and skin problems (photodermatitis), this is very interesting. How on earth do we get it right though? It sounds like the whole theory is in its infancy. The information that "vitamin" D is a hormone and not a vitamin though, that's a shocker, no wonder we're all over the place!

Anyone know how much vitamin D we should be taking?

That's the difficult question, because really we should all be tested regularly. I'm planning to get another test done (see my thread) at the end of the summer, to see how much I've raised my levels by. But 1000 iu a day of vitamin D3 is certainly safe, but probably not enough to raise very low levels (like mine - I'm currently taking 4000 iu a day).

Thanks for that information. As an insomniac migraineur with joint disease maybe I should get tested. I'm taking 2000IU at the moment.
