Magnesium treatment - Page 3 Empty Re: Magnesium treatment

Just thought I'd revisit this thread. I still have terrible trouble actually absorbing magnesium orally (it goes straight through me Embarassed ), but I'm sure I must still have a deficiency, as my diet isn't at all high in it.

I really can't use the magnesium oil - my skin is far too sensitive.

I've started using Mag Phos, ie homeopathetic magnesium, as well as my regular magnesium malate capsules. It is supposed to help the body absorb it at the cell level. I have to say, it's stopped the diarrhoea immediately, so I'm definitely going to give it a try.

I have also ordered an ionic magnesium to try.

I'll update how I get on later.

Update time.

The diarrhoea returned (so sorry for all this TMI, but it is relevant, I swear! Embarassed  Very Happy ) So I started the ionic magnesium alongside the Mag Phos. The same happened.

So, I then put a whole day's worth of the ionic magnesium (at a fairly high dose) in a small bottle of water, and started sipping it throughout the day, attempting to space it out as evenly as I possibly could.

The diarrhoea stopped after a few 'shaky' days. I almost immediately started to feel an improvement in my circulation - my feet and hands felt strangely warm (I'm really not used to that sensation!)

And.... amazingly, and I really hope I'm not cursing myself here by saying it 'out loud', but I just had the best period I've had in years with my head! I've honestly never noticed any difference with my migraines with magnesium before, even when I had the injections all those years ago. But this is definitely helping.

I am beyond thrilled. The only downside is that the magnesium works out expensive at the dose I'm taking it at (I'm getting it from Amazon). Definitely worth it though.

I will update again soon.

So glad to hear you have had success. Congratulations. Your persistence has paid off. I've tried magnesium supplements before without success, so I'll have to look up the types of magnesium you are using.
