Over half of all patients attending Ireland's Headache/Migraine Clinics are suffering from Medication Overuse Headache [MOH], according to the Migraine Association of Ireland [MAI].
MOH is a condition caused by overuse of over-the-counter painkillers and prescription medications. Latest research indicates that up to 250,000 people north and south of the border may be affected.
