migraine and chest pain
Hi all,
I have just been doing some digging on the internet, as I am now often getting chest pain when i get my aura, and this seems to be linked with a lt of people. I guess its because they are both to do with spasms in arteries.
I remember about 2 years ago going to hospital with chest pain and being sent home all clear only to end up back in hospital the same night with the worst head pain I have ever had. i knew the 2 were linked but never found out why.

No I haven't, but i had a heart scan thing in 2003 when i had pericarditis, so assume any defect would have shown up on that. I will mention it to the consultant if i ever get an appointment! (drums fingers impatiently)
oooh, post man, maybe he brings an appointment letter............

Yes I get the heart pain too, as well as a feeling of not enough oxygen and I huff and puff when I walk sometimes. This is all linked to my HM episodes and no other time. My EKGs and arteries, and all that come back clear when tested. I think part of it is linked as one of you said to the tightening of the blood vessels and lack of oxygen the brain is getting. OUCH! Hang in there everyone, one of us will find answers and pass along. Jerri
