Life's not so bad really...
A 40 min drive to the fracture unit then a 3 hour stint under hospital lighting..I am undone Mr D'arcy....the left of my face is falling off ..feels like painful land slippage..face-alanche (like an avalanche but more facey).
I keep thinking about a kid I saw yesterday at the park..covered in horrific scars from the neck down and one artificial leg. She's obviously had tonnes of surgery..yet there she was charging through the sand pit in her summer dress, laughing, she looked about 5 or 6 years old.
So I will laugh about my droopy eye and saggy face and decided that I am one of the lucky ones and one of the lucky parents. Even if when Owen's cast was removed today his foot smelt like a rotting cheese. Small potatoes ...
