same old same old
I started working again 1 mth ago after a break of 9 mths, (only started to pay the bills as my sick pay was stopped (nothing wrong with me!)wasn't enough to live on anyway) I really hoped my body would get use to working - 3 mornings a week but it seems not. It is taking me at least 2 days of total rest to get anyway near 'normal' then sitting at a desk again makes my eyes feel like they are falling out the pressure at my temps increase...or perhaps I am just less tolarant of the pain either way its rubbish.
Life is just feelin like real hard work at the mo. Need a lottery win, I am sure I could get use to sitting on a beach (super dark glasses!) I could cope with the pain then!
Happy pain free day to you all

Re: same old same old
I am starting to contemplate going back to work, myself. I dread it every time I start to think about it, though. Right now I am limiting myself to 1 hour or less of computer time per day, and my migraines are much less frequent. Going back to work will nullify all that!
Good luck with work, and I really hope that you do "acclimate" if that is possible! Keep us informed!

I can only sympathise. Everyday I thank my lucky stars (or at least, I should) that I've been able to drop out of work without us suffering too greatly financially. In the end you've got to put your health first. Easy to say, of course.
I love your doggy avatar, by the way! Would love to see some more piccies of everyone's pets.
edit: I was about to start a thread on our pets with piccies, but realised I wasn't sure of the rules on attaching photos (they're probably in the rules I'm too lazy to read! )

Re: same old same old
I got std stick pay which was £67.40 a week for 13 weeks, after that you see a dr and they decide if you should go to the higher bracket around £90 I think or not. I was not, told me there was nothing wrong with me to stop me working, I could have appealed but I decided that the £90 a week was still not enough on its own to live on. I had already been turned down for disability and cares allowance for my husband and we did appeal that. So unless my husband earns more (he has his own business so if he could take more out he would) I will have to keep trying to look normal at work. Might get found out soon tho as have been making silly mistakes and I have only been here since feb so they could still kick me out under trial period.
My doggie is called coco and she keeps me sane, only thing I get out of bed for most days - and if I go back to bed she will curl up with me with her head on my shoulder.
Hope you can think better today tee
