How many pillows and what kind?
Pillow - how many and what kind?
In a study of migraine sufferers, it was found that sleeping with a 30 degree elevation of the head resulted in a dramatic decrease in headaches with an additional bonus of a reduction in sinus congestion (including baggy eyes!). Researchers suggest that raising the head might even have an impact on Alzheimer's, ADHD and glaucoma.
Hmmm personally I have found laying lower on a water pillow to help, as it reduced my neck pain.............. how do you all sleep?

Re: Pillow - how many and what kind?
I read this and my husband elevated the bed for me.
I put up with my memory foam mattress going south for 6 months and have given up. Not a bit of difference to the head sadly.
Have tried all but the water pillow.
At the moment one memory foam and one synthetic.
I cant seem to find any difference, I wake with head pain every morning.

Funny you should start this thread, as I've been meaning to say for a couple of weeks now that I have been experimenting with propping up my pillow! What I have found is that when laying too flat, whilst my neck likes that, it puts untold pressure on my poor jaw.
It's really difficult to get the pillow to stay put though!
