Volunteers wanted for a study on the Greater Occipital Nerve (GON) block in patients with migraine

The Department of Pain Medicine at Leicester General Hospital are conducting a research study to evaluate the analgesic efficacy of the GON block in patients with migraine.

The research project will help identify if the occipital nerve block - a mixture of local anaesthetic and steroid medication -... is successful in reducing the frequency and intensity of migraine headaches. The injection will be performed at the Leicester General Hospital as a day case procedure and the participant will be able to go home the same day.

Adults who experience at least 2 migraine headaches in a month are eligible to take part in the study.
