I have used vinegar for cleaning for a long time, and I often wonder if it possible to buy it in larger quantities. I have found one website that offers a range of natural cleaning products in bulk, but wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

I'm not sure if it is ok to post a link to the site I have found, so I won't do that for now.

look forward to hearing any ideas.

Most catering wholesale outlets sell larger amounts of bicarb and vinegar.

Suma offer eco/vegan cleaning products in bulk and many independant small vegetarian shops will consider offering bulk order discounts.

Check out this great long thread. Smile I've gone thoroughly hippy these days (for the most part, anyway)

Thanks for the replies Katie and Sarah, there's certainly a great deal to take in on the thread about chemicals.

The supplier I found was this one http://www.summernaturals.co.uk/
They do vinegar in 5L containers which was what I was looking for, but I also saw all the ingredients they have for making other toiletries and was quite intrigued by them - I am now thinking of making some hand soap.

Thanks again

Oh that looks an interesting site. Thanks Smile

I make my own simple hand cream (very rich!) with shea butter and coconut oil.

So interesting that you are all looking at this area as well. I started using natural products with essential oils a few months ago. I love them, and them make me feel good, not to mention enjoy doing housecleaning more. Anything to get away from potential products that may be causing a problem.
