yet another med

Old MacHeadache had a pain, E-I-E-I-O.
And for that pain she got some meds, E-I-E-I-O.
With a med, med here
And a med, med there,
Here a med, there a med,
Everywhere a med med
Old MacHeadache still in pain,
E-I-E-I-O.

Now trying yet another anti-depressant. Pretty soon there won't be any more left to try. Feel like a one woman off-label pharmaceutical testing program. It's depressing (irony intended).

You have my sympathies. Having gone through the practically the full range of publicly funded medicines available for the treatment of migraines (some several times) and numerous alternative therapies, I have all but given up on finding that magic pill that will make my migraines disappear.

I've decided that I'm probably better off simply concentrating on making the most out of my life on those days that I can.

That's a good attitude with which to approach an achey brakey life. I was home from work yesterday with pain, numbness, tingling, and dizziness.

But,even though I have symptoms every day, at least I am able to work most days.

And even though I was home yesterday, it was an opportunity for quality time with one of my sweet kitties.
