22nd April
Trying walking as therapy and managed a good 5 miles at a slow pace yesterday. We all had a good time at the pool walking talking and trowing stones at the waters edge. " little boys in sun hats and with fishing nets looking like a picture from Pooh bear. A good day.
Did a couple of miles today and despite the bright sun I was really pleased with how I was getting on. Then we went in to a shop and I suddenly felt very low ..bang brain fog decended, rapidly followed by pain and sickness..blasted muzak and strip lights..shakes fists at mans worst inventions.
Still I am pleased with how it's going and will walk again tomorrow..I need to get into a routine of walking once the boys get back to school so I can keep it up and hopefully get some of this weight off me....am sick of feeling like darlek in valance everytime I put a maxi dress on.

Re: 22nd April
WOW - go girl that's amazing news. Just make sure you take a phone with you!
I have just found a company who have done some research into strip lights and the colours they send out - apparently migraine people can see the red and blue lights and green tinned glasses can block them out - I will try to find it and post and see what people think. I have emailed them to get a cost.
As for today, I did manage to get outside (the first time this week) and we all had fish and chips on the beach watching the sun set

Glad you got out...can't beat fish n chips at the beach....well you could..if you had a big stick but it'd be messy.
