7th May 2011
Well......... I am now officially mediation free - the first time in 5 years GULP
I am a little worried how the next 11 days or for that matter the next few months are going to go - but the botox goes in in 11 days time and I need to have the Epilim gone - so drug free it is for a while.....

Yes it's a weird feeling but not long till 'b' day. Once you get used to it it's less scary xx

Great news about the Botox, watch the chemicals in all this DIY stuff, you never know what allergies can come from them.
I carry two Epipens with me 24/7 as I'm allergic to all fruit and pectin, pectin is used as a preservative in food, and suffer from anaphalytic shock, if it touches my mouth.

Thanks for that - sorry your that allegeric - must be a nightmare.
I have made an appointment to see my GP, not sure what's going on - mouth and tongue have gone down a bit, but my feet and legs are really bad now. I took some antihistamine and it made no difference

AH that's not good hope they can shed some light on the problem. Don't suppose there's anything in the patient info list about withdrawal symptoms like these?
I have never heard anything like this before..that's the problem when you are chronically ill..you never know if it's a new development in your illness or something new and completely unrelated.
Hope you feel better soon.

Re: 7th May 2011
Hmmm its a tricky one - I have had a look at Epilm and found it has a relatively short half life of 9-18 hours. So that all of the drug will be out of your system in a total of approx. 96 hours - so it should be gone by now. So I am not sure its that.
The foot swelling started a few weeks go and has just got worse - still think the grout did not help - but not sure that is the total problem now either.
I am a little worried about my thyroid gland - and possible Cushings - I have had a look at that again today and I tick a lot of the symptoms - anyway I am going to see the GP and see what he thinks.......... when it rains it pours lol.........
