Migraine App
Just to let you all know I've started developing the migraine app I've been telling you about! It will let you track your migraine attacks and hopefully be able to incorporate the MIDAS scale in there too
I hope to be able to make it free to download

Re: Migraine App
I use an app called Ubiqi on my Android. It isn't ideal, but it is something! It has really helped me talk to my doctors. What parameters will your app have? I know I would volunteer to test it!!

Re: Migraine App
Not massively impressed with Ubiqui, the app I'm working on will let you log when a migraine starts, what you think triggered it, how long it lasts, where the pain is, what medication you have taken and whether it has carried on from the previous day
The migraine trust diary is being used as an approximate guide and I hope to incorporate the MIDAS questionnaire into it so you can track how the migraines are affecting you over time
If you think anything else should be added do let me know!!

Re: Migraine App
One thing I dislike about Ubiqi is that it doesn't have an entry for how much medication you take and when. You can make a note, but when I have a migraine, just entering in the basics is all I can do. I really want some sort of easy entry option!
Incorporation of MIDAS would be great! Also I like the "where the pain is" option you listed. Again, on Ubiqi you can write it in a note, but that is really too time-consuming, and they limit the number of characters you can use.

Re: Migraine App
All noted!
The 'where the pain is' will be a series of photographs and you can touch the approximate area/region where the pain is.
I'll make sure there is an 'add note' option for you to put in as much free text as possible.
MIDAS is WAY more effective when you do it as you're going along as then you won't rely on memory
