Bradenton girl finds solution to constant headaches

My name is Nicole and I am starting the new year off migraine free. I’m 9 years old. I take dance and karate twice a week. I play basketball and I’m a Girl Scout. I have been having a constant headache for over nine months.
After taking me to three doctors, a chiropractor, an MRI, allergy testing and various medications, my mom was upset that nothing seemed to work.

My mom went to the library one day to look at books and stumbled upon a book that looked helpful for my headache problem. She checked it out and brought it home. The book says that if you eat a protein and a carbohydrate every four hours, it will keep your blood sugar stable. It also says that if you are going to eat a dessert you should eat it at the end of the meal.

Fruit or dessert on its own a couple hours after a meal will cause your blood sugar to spike. You should eat within an hour of waking up in the morning and then every four hours because meals eaten too far apart promote fat storage, low energy, headaches and sugar cravings.

Plus, it could mess with your attitude and make you grouchy.
