I am Elizabeth and have suffered Migraines since I was around 12 yrs old and still dealing with some amount of suffering. I just this weekend figured out that onion powder is very bad for my migraines and a big trigger.I think that everyone's triggers are different for sure. I now know to stay away from onion powder but not sure why it bothers me when regular onions do not. I guess the biggest thing is the fact that the only really good medication that I took and it worked is no longer made so that has been a major factor.

I have been given a diagnosis of classical migraine. However, I think mine have changed over the last two years so I believe it is time for a trip to the neurologist once again. I used to take Midrin but since they no longer make Midrin I have been on Maxalt but not able to afford 120 dollars for three pills so I haven't been taking anything.

I have had classical migraine too - those where my common ones during my teens and 20s - HM was happening but only a few small attacks per year, until I hit late 20's.. then in my 30s the classicals stopped and HM came with force............

There are a number of triptans on the market - might be worth a trip to the docs to talk them through - Maxalt works fast, but can also wear off quick.

Do let us know how you get on? x

Yeah been thinking I need to go see doctor anyways since Hubs dosen't want more babies so we need to discuss birth control options for my migraines. Also, I guess I was a little saddened this weekend with some things and spent most of my weekend in bed with a migraine.
