Work Capability Assessment 7th July Empty Work Capability Assessment 7th July

Hi

Got all my bumph back of DWP regarding my assessment for ESA today. They have decided that I am too ill to work or be involved in any work related training.

However they have put an employment advisor at my disposal should I feel I want to approach the world of work at a later stage...so basically it's up to me, helps there if I want it but if I don't they agree that I am entitled to ESA due to my incapacity.

Phew I am quite relieved to be honest and I was really quite pleased that there is help should I feel at a later stage I would like to do some training etc.

After talking to the Chronic Pain Team I realised just how much I missed working..so maybe in a years time, when I have worked with the Pain team who knows what might happen?

In the meantime I am glad it is all out of the way for the time being..I have no idea how often they intend to review ESA claims but am guessing I won't hear much for another year at least.

Kind regards
Jane

Smile That's very good news hun - but really it was a no brainer - just damn stressful to go through the process Sad - i hope they leave you alone for a while. But the offer of help is good - once you are ready and that could be a while off yet - but one day Smile

Really good to hear that you should be off their radar for a while. Smile I miss working too, so much. It's nice to have something to aim for.

From what I can gather I will probably be called in again December time.

They are planning on doing more regular reviews under the new regime.
